Morning from a beautiful sunny Beith.
I don't know where I got this little bow from, but it's so cute I wish I could remember. I added ribbon in the same colours as the bow and mounted the bow on the bottom left of the card.
My wee cousin got married in Montreal, Canada. I couldn't manage to go to the wedding, as much as I would have loved to as a Scottish/Greek wedding sounds like a fantastic excuse for a party! I used to babysit Nicola when she was ickle and I can't believe she's married, where did those years go (answers on a postcard please :oD)?
This is the card I made for Nic and her new hubby Tim.
The stamp is from Lily of the Valley . I just love these kiddies dressed up in wedding togs. It reminds me of when I was little, trying on my mum's wedding dress and imagining that it was my big day!
I coloured the back ground of the image with Worn Lipstick Distressing ink and coloured the image with my Promarkers. The papers are from My Minds Eye that I got as a freebie with a magazine. I added two wee flowers to the top left and bottom right corners and little pearls to the centres to finish them off.
I love this little sentiment from Elzybells which I cut out freehand and inked up with the distressing ink and mounted to match the background.
I don't know where I got this little bow from, but it's so cute I wish I could remember. I added ribbon in the same colours as the bow and mounted the bow on the bottom left of the card.
Well that's it - the newly married's are in Peru at the moment on Honeymoon. I wish them all the best for their future together and hope they end up old wrinkly married's!
Lxx
That's a very beautiful card. I love this LOTV stamp and you used it well. That sentiment is just perfect in the way it is shaped, and the bow put diagonally instead of horizontally gives an energetic look.
