The Crazy Challenge #90 - Scary Ladies

Afternoon blogland!

Over atThe Crazy Challenge this week we want to see some Scary Ladies and we also have a sletch for you to follow. We are being sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs and you have the chance to win 4 Digis of your choice.

This is my card for the challenge:

Isn't she a sexy witch. When I was making the card Ross (4) said 'look mum it's you!' I wish I looked that good, but hey my 4 year old thinks so LOL.

This is a close up of the witch. I made her into a slider card so that she really flies on her broom.

You just pull the spiders web to make her fly. I've never made a slider card before so am quite chuffed with how well this turned out.

Pop on over to The Crazy Challenge and let's see your Scary Ladies.

Ingredients:

The Crazy Challenge #88 - A sketch and optional Autumnal colours!!

Evening all

Over at The Crazy Challenge this week the challenge is to follow the sketch, there is also an option of adding autumnal colours to your card. Here's the sketch:

...and here is my wee card following the lovely sketch:

Kind of autumnal (well there is a lot of orange). Isn't he a cute lil mummy. You can buy him at Di's Digi Downloads, who are sponsoring our challenge this week and if you enter you could be lucky enough to win a wee prize from Di's Digis.

I love Halloween. I'm getting my costume ready for when the kids come to my door. I dress up as a witch (wot do you mean, do I need a costume?) and when they come to the door to scare me I jump out first haha - they think I'm nuts, but I don't care a jot :o)

Ingredients for the above card:
Image: Dis' Digis, Tanda Stamps (pumpkins)
Sentiments: Whimsy Stamps, cut with Whimsy Ticket Die
Paper: Raspberry Road
Medium: Promarkers and Spiced Marmalade distress ink

77 Days til the Jolly Fat Man gets here!!

So - where did this year go??? Only 77 days left til Christmas. Last Christmas feels like yesterday!

I really need to get my skates on shopping wise, hate the stress of last minute shopping.

Here is a wee Christmas card that I finished off today, after a wee jaunt to a car boot where I picked up a 3D frame for 50p :o) - not much else took my fancy, but the frame was a bargain!

The image is from Di's Digis, they have some really cute Christmas images over there, and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps. We also have a Christmas Challenge on over at The Crazy Challenge, where you have to use no red or green, so why don't you pop over and have a go - you might even be lucky enough to win a wee prize.

The Crazy Challenge #87 - Think Pink (Breast Cancer Awareness)

 Afternoon bloggers

Scotland has been dreich over the past few days, makes me wish I lived a bit further south.

Well what can Iexpect with winter just around the corner :)

Over at The Crazy Challenge this week we are Thinking Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are sponsored by Limited Runs Digital Stamps who have some great digis for all kinds of occassions (I have been over browsing the Halloween section - mmmm - spoookkyyyy) and they are offering 3 digis of choice to the winner. So - here's my card for the challenge and for the party over at Link Up For Pink thanks for the info Celeste:

You can buy the ribboned cupcake over at Limited Runs and the Hope ribbon on the bottom of my card is a wee freebie at the moment. I made the card using my nestie and positioned it on a fold so that when cut it formed a card. Think I need a bigger die-cutting machine now so I can use bigger nesties for making cards (well Christmas is just around the corner).

Wee close up pics of the card:

Ingredients:
Images: Limited Runs
Card: Cut with Lacey Circles Nestie
Papers: Tea House by Dovecraft
Medium: Promarkers
Embellishments: Butterfly punch, paper flowers, brads and pearls from stash, Frosted Lace Stickles & Glossy Accents

Thanks for looking folks, now lets see your pink creations over at the Crazy Challenge and hop over to the Link Up For Pink and join the fun to be in with a chane to win some wee prizes as well as raising awareness of Breast Cancer.
