Autumn Already??

Actually feels more like winter outside - where did summer go. Surely those couple of days of sun wasn't it - please don't let that be true!!!

There's a challenge over at Craftymess this month for a card in autum colours and this is the card I made:

I think this stamp is turning into one of my favourites.

See what I mean - how cute is she...
Wild Orchid Flowers with Frosted Lace Stickles on them.

Sentiment foiled and cut with my nestie.

Ribbon (slightly wired at the edges, so is great for manipulating into a bow shape)

Image: Elisabeth Bell - Penpal
Sentiment: Computer generated & foiled in orange with Foil It
Medium: Promarkers
Papers & CS: from stash
Embellishments: Wild Orchid flowers, Mei flower metal butterfly, nestie used to cut out image & ribbon from stash.

Summery card for my Cousin

Thought I'd bring a wee bit of summer to my page, since the weather is not bothering to sun-up!

This is a card I have made for my cousin, she is a nanny in Switzerland, so I will have to be extra careful when posting it so it gets there in one piece.

I must say this is one of my favourite cards and it will kill me posting it LOL. Might have to make one to keep myself, kinda cheers me up looking at it.

Coloured with my Promarkers.

Sentiment foiled with pink with my Foil It machine to match the card, it's murder trying to take a photo of this stuff as it is soooo reflective, looks great tho :oD.

My flowers, some Wild Orchid ones, some from my local craft shop. They have Frosted Lace stickles on them, but it hasn't come up to great on the photo.

Ingredients:
Image: Sarah Kay
Sentiment: Computer generated foiled with Foil It machine
Medium: Promarkers
Papers: Wild Rose Studio (Butterfly Garden)
Embellishments: Wild Orchid Flowers and Stick Pins, Heather from local craft shop, Lace & Ribbon from stash

Fathers Day Part III

Afternoon Crafters!

Weather's really been trying to make an effort here today, but hasn't really succeeded. Sun is peeking through the clouds and rain has managed to stay off, but it's hardly bikini weather now is it ....

This is the last of my Fathers Day cards, for my hubby (not that he's my father, but hey he is father to my kids...so I suppose needs must LOL):

It's a little tribute to The Italian Job, you know - the Michael Caine film. OH loves this film, so he should love the card too (he'd better or there'll be trouble :oD)

Ingredients:
Image: John Bryars 9masked mini stamped over
Sentiment: Elzybell
Medium: Promarkers
Papers: CS fom stash and mirriboard embossed with my cuttlebug
Embellishments: Card Candy (silver coloured with Promarkers to match cars)

Thanks for looking :o)

Fathers Day 19th June!!

Soooo - that means I have 3 cards to make... hubby, FIL and my own wee Dad.

I bought a new stamp from Stamp Addicts at the Art Stamp Craft Fair at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh (along with some other goodies - welll would be rude not to). This was for my dad's card as he was an engineer in the shipbuilding industry for years, before it all started to fade away, but he still has a passion for ships.

Here's the card:

Isn't that just the most gorgeous stamp of a galleon? I think so!

Love this sentiment, just says it all really...

Ingredients:
Image: Galleon from Stamp Addicts
Sentiment: Near the sea... - bought from E-bay, Fathers Day - Elsybells
Papers & CS: From stash
Medium: Distress Inks - Antique Linen & Brushed Corduroy
Embellishments: Card Candy, anchor charm and silver brad, gingham ribbon, black twine

I'd like to enter the above card in the following challenges:
