Bottoms Up!

Evening!

Been fantastic weather here in Scotland today (and yesterday), for a change - hope it continues into next week so I can bask in it (as if I'll get to do that hahahahahaha).

Ross was out playing most of today, so I got a bit of time to craft. I made this wee card for the TLT Challenge, which is a sketch this week.

Here's my card using Martini Nikki from Ladybug Crafts Ink, which you can buy here:
This is the first time I've inked up Martini Nikki. Ain't she sweet, although likely a teeny bit tipsy...
The DP is from Dovecraft - Sugar n Spice. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and she is coloured with my PMs and cut with Nesties and I added glamour dust to her top and her eyeshadow so she sparkles a little. The sentiment is also from LCI, the whole sentiment is 'Sit back, relax and enjoy!' Just stole the enjoy bit for my card!

...and looky here - I did the inside too, only coz I had a bit of peace to do it :o). Tried to reflect the outside of the card, and I think it looks okay!
This is the sketch, and you still have time to enter if you're quick!

I'd like to enter the following challenge with my wee card:

A 40th Anniversary and a Fabby NEW TOY!

Evening all!

Apparently it was a really warm day today??? Not that I noticed while I was converting my car 'James Bond style' into a boat this morning to get to work!

Thought I was going to crash at one point when a truck driving in the other direction drove through a swimming pool on the road and drowned my car - couldn't see a thing in front of me! Lucky I am still here and praying for the sun to please make an appearance next week when I'm off on holiday!

One of my friends was having a wee wander through Facebook a wee while ago and came across my craft album, she then decided that I'm just the person she was looking for and I have so far made 6 cards for her. I love all my crafting and making cards, but making them to order for other people makes me sweat buckets! I suppose if they don't like them you can always use them in the future for someone else though ey?!

Fortunately, she has loved everything I have made her so far. It's her Mum and Dad's 40th wedding anniversary on 17th of this month and I made this wee card for her:

I didn't use any PP as I wanted the red for the ruby wedding to stand out quite a bit, and I also couldn't really find a lot of red PP to play with :o(. If anyone knows where I can get some nice red papers PLEASE let me know...

The stamp is from LOTV, coloured with my PMs, the little bell charm is from Mei Flower and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. CS cut with Nesties Labels - like this one as it is quite similar in shape to the card I have used.
Now - let me introduce you to my new toy. It's a FOILING MACHINE. Yes - no more peel off greetings for me! Billy (lovely hubby person) got me a Laser Printer for my chrimbo (as you need to print the greeting on one for the foil to stick to it). You print your greeting, make sure your Foil It machine is hot enough (has a wee ready light - so really 'dummy proof'), stick your greeting through the machine with the foil colour of your choice wrapped in a wee bitty of paper (so the foil sticks to card and not machine) - and it come out all supercalafragilistic at the other end!!! Doesn't it look fabby-do! I love it. Want to foil everything now! Foil comes in loads of different colours too. Wait til you see the Christening card I made with the pink foil for the greetings - see - it's even made me like PINK!!! Love it, love it! If you'd like to be the lucky owner of this fabglorious machine you can buy one from Patsy May HERE, and postage is just a wee £1 at the moment for a limited time! All the foil is there too - go on - you know you wanna :oD

Also foiled this wee sentiment! Told you - no stopping me now - you can even print digi images or any image really and then use one of the colours (or more than one if you like) to make it all shiney, shiney!!

Do you think I really like my new machine then??

I'd like to enter the above wee card into the following challenges:

I'm away to have a HUGE M & S Cookie (mmmmm) and that lovely hubby person I was talking about earlier is making me a nice cuppa to go with it - might even give him one ;o)

Happy Mother's Day

Morning!

Hope all you mum's out there are having a lovely day. I got a humungous box of chocolates this morning from my boys, knowing them they will be finished by noon - kinda makes me wonder who the choc's were for ??? I am going to sit and craft all day and do hee-haw housework... just like most other days really LOL.

I popped up to my mum's yesterday with her pressies and card. This is the card I made for her, which she thought was beautiful.

The PP is Tea House from Dovecraft and the CS is from stash, puched with my MS punch.

The image is a Digistamp from Mo Manning, when I purchased this all the proceeds were going to a chartity for the Japanese Tsunami. Coloured with my PMs. Isn't she sweet.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the little heart charm is from stash.

I hope you like my wee mum's card.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:

I'm giving up crafting and selling all my craft stuff.

Haha! April Fool! AS IF - never ever ever would I do that. If my house was burning down I'd go in and save my craft stuff - well, after the kids and cat were safely outside of course :o)

It's another dreich day on the West Coast of Scotland, staying in where it's nice and warm. Just as well as I have 5 cards to make this weekend, 4 for myself and 1 for an order, so will be busy busy.

I made a card with some of the stamps that I bought at the SECC in March. It's a bright and cheery wee card, and is very sparkly IRL. Here it is:

I'm getting quite used to making step cards, I did find them a bit footery when I first tried them, but persevered, and am glad I did.

The stamps are by Kanban and coloured with my PMs. The PP is Birthday by Dovecraft and CS is from stash.

I added about a ton of Glamour Dust to this wee vocalist to make him all sparkly, just like a star should be.

I positioned the drummer on one of the steps of the middle step card, so it kinda looks like a group on stage. I also added GD to the drum kit.

Finally the guitarist, he has a couple of bits of bling on his guitar and again a little bit of GD.

I'd like to enter the above card in the following challenges:
Moving Along With The Times - Challenge 92 More Than One Fold
Charisma Cardz Challenges - No 13 Bling and Sparkles
Craft Your Passion - Challenge 51 Grin and Bear It

Card for a Boy!

Evening all!

This is a card that I have made for a boy - well having two I have to make quite a few cards for boys, and am getting quite used to it - as you can imagine.

The image is from LOTV and I have paper-pieced the hat dungarees and bits of his shoes. The paper is by K & Co 'Hopscotch' and I have coloured the rest of the image with Promarkers.

Isn't he sweet - sometimes boys are better sleeping I think :o).

I thought this wee sentiment from Papermania suited the card to a T.

I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges

Thanks once again for looking and any comments you are kind enough to leave.

A Card for Twins!

Morning

It's a gorgeous day here on the West Coast of Bonnie Scotland, just about to put a washing on and get it outside for a good airing. Then I'm off to a school coffee morning at my nephew and niece's school.

A girl that my OH works with had twins a few weeks ago and he asked if I could rattle up a couple of hand knitted things for her, and well - I just had to make a card to go along with them. This is the card I came up with:

I've never made a card for twins before, and am quite chuffed with the results. The stamps are by LCI (the sentiment is from the same set) I used a sheer ribbon and the buttons are laced through with embroidery floss. I used one of my new Spellbinders that I pur-chased at the SECC a few weeks ago for the die cutting and Promarkers to colour. Papers are from Forever Friends 'For You'.

I stamped the baby onto a piece of scrap card and cut out a wee mask. Stamped the baby on the left onto my base card, masked it with the cut-out and stamped it again. Haven't used masking much with my stamps, so am dead chuffed with the results, looks like the baby on the left is reassuring the one on the right with her wee hand :o). I used a little bit of glamour dust on the little zippers (can't really tell from the picture).

This is the wee sentiment. Ain't it cute! Used another nestie for the die cutting, but the rectangles kinda get on my nerves, coz when you try to layer with them the are a bit bigger on one side, so I hand cut round the pink matting card to make it even.

This is one of the two wee cardigans I made. Love knitting baby cardi's as you can rattle them up in no time. I also made hats but forgot to take pictures of them - doh!

Hope the parents like them and the babies are nice and cosy in their cardi's and hats.

I'd like to enter the above card into the following challenges:

Totally Ladybug Tuesday - Challenge 20 - Monochrome

Crafty Day at the SECC!

It was a Friday, weather wasn't that great, so what better place to spend the day that at the SECC with some good friends and loads of crafty goodies!

I did my duty volunteering at the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice stand, selling some raffle tickets for a great cause, after already spending some pennies on craft goodies, and then continued to shop. Here are some of the goodies I purchased:

I have wanted the Lavinia 'Fairy Door' for a while now - and now I have it :o) . The Pepper and Friends stamps were just a wee £1 each and the teddy stamps were two for £9.99 (other stands had them for £9.99 each - so got a true bargain there). Also got some new Sugar Nellie stamps and Lily of the Valley ones too! I also picked up a Rhinestone setter and some Rhinestones to have a wee play with. Can't wait to start using them all. Ross is out with his dad at the moment, but keeps popping his head in the door (scared in case he misses something that one :oD

Got other bits n bobs too, but tidied up my craft stash last night (I know - why bother ey) and dunno where it all is now hahaha - can feel the hysteria setting in....

Thanks for sharing in my stash!
